Free for mission-aligned organizations
Scantra is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The Community tier gives non-profits, schools, and public-interest projects the full Core plan at no cost. Pro and Studio are available at a discount for organizations that need more capacity.
Three nonprofit plans
Same Core / Pro / Studio plans we offer businesses, at nonprofit rates. Pick what fits your team after your application is approved.

Apply once below — all three tiers unlock after verification. Core is provisioned automatically; Pro and Studio at the listed nonprofit rates are set up by email until our automated nonprofit-discount flow rolls out.
- US 501(c)(3) non-profits (any size)
- Schools and universities (K-12 districts welcome too)
- Registered non-profits / NGOs / charities outside the US
- Public-good projects — independent newsrooms, mutual-aid groups, open source, civic tech
How approval works. We review every application by hand and reply within two business days. There is no auto-approval, no waiting list, and no soft cap on how many organizations we support. The Community tier is what makes our non-profit structure mean something; we treat reviewing fairly as part of the job, not a chore.
For the smoothest experience, we strongly recommend registering with an email address associated with the organization you intend to scan (e.g. a work, school, or domain-specific address such as .edu, .gov, or .org). Applications submitted with a public email provider such as Gmail, Yahoo, or similar may require additional verification steps before approval.
First, create an account
The Community tier attaches to your Scantra organization, so you need to sign up first (it takes about 20 seconds). After you register, come back to this page to submit the application.
